Sure, I get lazy sometimes when it comes to photographing my own family. If I’m not in the habit of taking their pictures, it’s easy to stay that way.
But I’m really happy when I break that cycle and take their pictures again.
And in that way, my family gives me great training as a photographer.

家族って、怠けて、撮らないでいたら、いくらでも撮らないでおけるんですよ。
写真やってんだからって、ちょっと義務のような感じもあるんですが、
でも、それを乗り越えて撮っておくと
「ああ、本当に撮ってて良かったなあ」って思うんですよね。
その意味でも、家族には、写真家としてもいろいろ鍛えてもらったと思っています。
