Great broadcasters have to be able to give commentary on just about anything that moves. I’ve given live commentary on my train ride home to Chigasaki from Tokyo. That was a lot of fun. I tried to convince myself that it was important practice for my career, but to be honest there no way I could have done it if it wasn’t so much fun. Everybody else on the train sat there is total silence… so yeah, it had to be fun enough to make up for the embarrassment.

ですから、新橋から電車に乗って茅ヶ崎に行くまでの車窓に流れる景色を
中継して通ったことがあります。それはやっぱり好きでやってましたねぇ。
