This is a story about my parents’ wedding as told by my mom. It came time for the exchanging of the rings. “With this ring I do thee wed,” said my dad. All of a sudden he grabbed the priest’s hand, trying to shove the ring on his finger!
My mom stood there in shock. In all his nervousness, my dad hadn’t even realized what he had done.
Despite being my father’s son, I was able to make it through my own ring ceremony without any issues.
